Regular Meditation Sessions

  • Morning Sessions
    - Tuesday to Friday - 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM Eastern Time 
  • Evening Session
    - Thursday - 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Eastern Time 

In this challenging time, the mindfulness practice is one of the most effective tools that brings us back to a place of peace and solidity.

Due to the pandemic, the MPCF's regular meditation sessions are now being offered online.

• Morning Session: every morning from Tuesday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM Eastern Time (optional sharing after session: 8:00 - 8:30 AM)

The session begins with a guided meditation, followed by the practice of mindful movement and mindful walking. The practice will make our day more peaceful and joyful. On Thursday morning, we offer a longer session of mindful movement. The exercises are based on gentle movements of Tai-Chi and Qigong.

• Evening Session: Thursday, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM EDT (7:00 PM - 9:30 PM Eastern Time on the first Thursday of the month)

We will enjoy being with many more friends and having more time to practice than in the morning.

Dress comfortably, choose a quiet place in your home, and prepare for the following practices:

- sitting meditation: on chair, bench or cushion;
- guided deep relaxation: yoga mat, pillow and blanket for lying down;
- walking meditation: a clear space behind your seat for slow mindful walking.

• Suggested Contribution & Donation:
    $5 to $15 per session (morning or Thursday evening)
You may like to contribute periodically by giving a weekly amount or making a monthly contribution.

We deeply appreciate generous contributions since they will support our teachers as they dedicate their lives to teaching and sharing the art of mindful living with us.
