"Cultivating The Mind of Love" retreat

When we are motivated by the desire to transcend suffering, to get out of a difficult situation and to help others to do the same, a powerful source of energy is born in us called “the mind of love.” During this weekend retreat, through the practice of mindful breathing, mindful sitting, mindful walking, and mindful eating, we will learn to touch the peace and happiness that are available in the present moment in order to give rise to “the mind of love.” The community’s collective energy of mindfulness will also help us to embrace our thoughts and feelings as they arise, so that we can continue to keep this energy of love in us alive. Then we will be strong; not afraid of anything because love will help us overcome all difficulties and despair.
