"The Five Mindfulness Trainings" ONLINE CLASS

In Six Sessions

An additional Q&A session is scheduled on Tuesday 12/22 from 7:30 till 9 PM EST with the same Zoom link for the class


Dates: Thursday evenings from November 5 to December 17, 2020 (No presentation on Thanksgiving Day, November 26)
Time: 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. EST The presentation starts after the regular sitting meditation.
Location: Online via Zoom

Starting Thursday November 5, 2020 after the evening regular guided meditation, we will present the Five Mindfulness Trainings for six Thursday evenings. There will be no session on Thanksgiving Day, November 26. The last presentation will be on December 17.

The Five Mindfulness Trainings represent the vision of all our spiritual ancestors for a global spirituality and ethic. They are a concrete expression of a path of wisdom and true love, leading to healing, transformation, and happiness for ourselves and for the world. To practice the Five Mindfulness Trainings is to cultivate a way of life which can remove all discrimination, intolerance, anger, fear, and despair. Following this way of life, we are not lost in confusion about our life in the present or in fears about the future.

A ceremony will be held online on Saturday morning January 2, 2021 to transmit the Trainings for those who would like to take these trainings to their hearts and practice them with the support of a practicing community. If you have already studied and practiced the Five Mindfulness Trainings, please come and share with us the fruits as well as challenges of your practice in light of these trainings. If you have the intention to receive the transmission of the Five Mindfulness Trainings, please commit yourself to attending the whole series of six sessions. In case you cannot attend a session because of an unexpected event, please let us know.

Schedule:

The class starts at 7:30 PM and ends around 9:30 PM.

  • 7:30: Guided Meditation
  • 8:00: Mindful gentle movements
  • 8:15: Introduction (first session) - Presentation on one Mindfulness Training (remaining five sessions)
  • 9:30: Closing

  • November 19: The Second Mindfulness Training - True Happiness
  • December 3: The Third Mindfulness Training - True Love
  • December 10: The Fourth Mindfulness Training - Loving Speech and Deep Listening
  • December 17: The Fifth Mindfulness Training - Nourishment and Healing
